The automobile cleaning process represents a critical phase in vehicle maintenance and preservation, with aesthetic, functional and environmental implications.Cleaning procedures are structured into multiple stages:
 Pre-washing for fast removal of coarse particles.
 Washing with specific pH-balanced surfactants to reduce effort, contact time and reduce the risk of paint damage.
 Rinsing with ingredients that inhibit residual water stains, minimize the drying process and give protection to the car body.
 Interior cleaning through vacuuming and cleansing of fabrics and synthetic surfaces granting gloss and protection.
The effectiveness of the process depends on the optimization of operational parameters such as ingredients combination and contact time.
The introduction of automated systems and eco-friendly products makes it possible to improve treatment uniformity, reduce environmental impact, and ensure high standards of hygiene, material conservation and protection.
We will describe the different steps for “car care” in both automated processes (car wash tunnels) and manual procedures, as well as the most suitable formulations to be used.
