It is a one-component system cross-linking at higher temperatures and offering wrinkle protection properties and other benefits. It has the following advantages:

1) Fiber protection

After repeated washes, fabrics are damaged by shear forces shown by losing their tear strength resistance. LIOSIL® FC 201 E increases the tear strength resistance. This reduces the damage of fibers by two effects: Lubrication and coating of the fibers.

2) Easy Ironing

LIOSIL® FC 201 E anchors on the surface of the fibers, which helps in reducing the friction between fibers and the surface of the iron. This facilitates fast gliding and lowers the ironing effort.

3) Wrinkle reduction

Reactive silicone polymers of LIOSIL® FC 201 E increase the elasticity of fibers and garments by cross-linking them, the garments regain their original shape after being washed.

4) Softness, Stability & Sustainability (3S)

Esterquats can be replaced by a smaller amount of LIOSIL® FC 201 E due to its higher softening efficiency. This improve costs and saves energy.

5) Color Fastness

Silicone polymers encase garment fibers, which reduces the friction between the fibers during the washing process. So dyes do not fade and fabrics last longer.
