Topic: Essential
ingredients for next generation ADW
Automated dishwashing (ADW) is a
widely applied cleaning application. New developments in this area are driven
by consumers, formulators and raw material suppliers as well as equipment
providers. These developments need to account for a range of requirements from
low cost-in-use and targeted performance to improved sustainability and
long-term stability.
An ADW formulation will include a
set of basic ingredients to drive the main cleaning performance such as
chelating agents, builders and surfactants. Often, it will also contain an
enzyme cocktail and/or a bleaching system for improved cleaning.
Nouryon
has several technologies and the application knowledge to address the major
challenges in next generation ADW: surfactants and chelating agents to take
care of the more obstinate soils, synthetic and hybrid polymers for improved
secondary cleaning (filming and spotting).
We believe in providing our
customers with the most sustainable solutions available so that they meet their
sustainability needs without performance compromise. This presentation
highlights various differentiating technologies available from Nouryon
today, focusing on how sustainability and performance together can provide
customer value in ADW.
